The course covers

  • Monotypes: experimenting with and without the press using different methods including the use of water based tombow colors
  • Gel plate printing: using textures, layering, and found objects to create rich, dynamic surfaces
  • Linocutting from one color to multi-plate works as well as reduction Linocutting
  • Stencils and collage: exploring shape, layering, and transparency
  • Color techniques: blending, rainbow rolls, tonal effects, and innovative inking methods
  • Precision registration for multi colored prints
  • Drypoint: use different tools to create a plate
